I vote Oyen, for no other reason than that I'm the only one voting for him so he won't get lynched anyway.

Are you sure about that?

I vote Doodle77. I think the clue interpretation made by Echo makes sense.

Well...I'm back. Woopee....New game...
Sigh....
:-( I was mafia last game too....

Well, my overwhelming sadness aside, I think the Doodle77 clues make sense. I'm too depressed to look for clues now, so I'll do it some time tommorrow. For now,

I vote Doodle77.

Because I know how to exploit SEN.

I'll upload it to imageshack... >.> SEN CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT!!!!

That image clearly shows that NERDY TERDY IS MAFIA!!! I vote Nerdy Terdy.

Well, I'm gonna stick to my vote. The evidence points to Doodle77. I also have other suspicions, but more on that later.

I vote FatalExeption.

The Mafia were wielding blades that they stole from the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia). Then, right after the kill, they dissappear.

With the average Mafia player, it doesn't hurt to repeat clues over and over and over, just to make sure people got it through their heads.

Game needs logical thinking/long-term memory in order to winnar, which is why the Town consistently loses the game.

Just here for the pie

Wouldn't four mafia members get their ass whooped if they messed with the Yakuza?

I vote Doodle77 for now.

Oct 6 2008, 7:57 pm InsolubleFluff Post #80

The game needs to refer to the past, solve for the present and predict for the future.
Go back and look at past clues and see any continuing clues.
Look at the present clues, arguments, bandwagons and so.
Then say to yourselves "If this person was mafia, I predict a clue next round that whoever he kills will die this way" etc...

I personally dont read bandwagons, I just interpret the clues my own way and vote who I think's mafia. Last game it served me well because I told everyone Omginbd was Mafia and then I figured out Dapperdan was mafia, the only two I didn't know was Oyen and Echo, though it wouldn't of taken long to figure it out...

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
