1. Go to Start
2. Click Run
3. Type in "cmd"
4. In cmd, type in "ipconfig /flushdns"
5. After thattype in again "ipconfig /release"
6. Type in "ipconfig /renew" and there you have it, you have a new ip address.

Only works if your computer is plugged directly into your cable/dsl modem. If you have a router, unplug it and leave it unplugged for a few minutes and then plug it back in.

Are you sure it's IP and not your CD-Key?

Shut your dsl modem or cable box off for about 40 minutes and then turn it on again and you should be assigned a new IP address. I think this is nearly the same thing as what echo said to do though.

But its wrong. It will give you the same IP if you're behind a router. Like Doodle said, its only if you're plugged directly into the Modem.

Routers/Switches give you an IP Address automatically, and most likely the default is 192.168.0.1, 192.168.0.2 and so on and so forth... If you use the Ipconfig functions without being directly connected to the Cable Modem, it will do it all through the router/switch..

Which will give you the same IP address because you're not flushing the main connection, only the node you're connected to.

Which the automatic IP configuration will configure your computer usually to the same IP..

Not necessarily, I have 3 computers attached to my network, and a laptop wirelessly attached, so it's quite likely I could be assigned a new IP. You can also go into your router and change what IP addresses it assigns.

Not to mention, the local IP is not what B.net sees, it sees whatever IP was handed to the router, so simply disconnecting your router should work perfectly.

Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
