i get this error whenever i try to open a game i made. i've tried making a new map. i think it's either my Starcraft installation.

it really sucks because the first map i made that got this error, which has been deleted, took a long time to create

What do you mean by make a new game? Do you mean start a game?

First of all, the map is 8 human players, so unless you're playing with other people, you won't be able to startm, secondly, you need to place Start Locations for all the players that are going to be used in the map in order for them to have a slot.
