1. Make sure it is not open in StarCraft.
2. Make sure it is not open in some obscure program (editors generally do not write-protect it, but you never know.)
3. Worse-case get WinMPQ and open your map with it. Delete (listfile).
Hmm. I don't know if OSMap (or similar) would fix this.

that was weird i opened it in SCMDraft 2 for 1 second. closed it. went back to save and it did!

I have gotten this error a few times myself in both StarEdit and the World's Worst Editor (aka Starforge), but it saved anyway. So I think you can ignore it, but I'm not sure if that's normal or just some quirk of my computer.

Symmetry -- I dreamed about that as a kid. The idea of a computer capable of analyzing a starcraft map and calculating the fastest possible way to hit the victory condition[2026-9-22. : 8:47 am]
NimoStar -- the thing with the "*12" thing is completely misleading. The AI isn't using two control groups, it can use each of those actions to command a single unit individually and issue different commands to each single unit.[2026-9-22. : 8:06 am]
