Just Here For The Pie

-Desert Bombers

I don't think any other map has kept me entertained as long as this map did.

Sand Castle Wars is pretty fun, I've been playing it a lot lately. Unfortunately, noobs have been editing it and I can't seem to find anyone ever host the original version.
Lol wow thanks.

1. Offensive Strike
2. MTG: Magus
3. Turret Defense by Ghost[Yoon]
4. Normandy Invasion by Panzer_Kavalier
5. Asteroid Race

I guess nearly everyone can agree that Normandy Invasion was a great map.

- Cat n Mouse Jungle 4.0
- Cat n Mouse Desert (I fixed a bunch of terrain issues / cheats / glitches so, my version...)
- I never really got into BattleCraft but I got into it enough to make [xM]ProduceCraft which I had a lot of fun playing, I think there were somethings that could be done with improvement, but I did enjoy playing the map Koltz and I made.
- [xM] Ball I had a lot of fun playing this map with friends and pubbies, was easy to pick up but did require a bit of skill.
- Sunken Defense ZoneZ, yet another map that was created by myself, but I found that this was harder then quite a lot of Sunken Defenses, and to this day, have not beat.

1. Sims Life RP2
2. Movie Contest Platinum
3. Harvest Moon
4. Toads Turret Defense
5. Astrogears
6. Galactic Gunnerz

I used to like defenses, but they just got old to me, those first two maps are the maps that got me to start map making :P

I played a lot of sunken defense way back when I started playing battle.net
I love Lame Defense despite that it isn't even that great. And I like Random Unit Battle because I'm good at it.

As of now:
Fastest Green.
Big Game Hunters
Phantom BGH
Fun.

All time, I don't know. I've been playing Starcraft for awfully long, so it's hard to say. It's changed a lot over time too.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
