Allied statuses with computers and neutral

I did some experimenting, but I realized that my results are quite dubious and someone on SEN might know definitively how alliances between humans, computers, and neutral players work.

Here's what I have so far (which may very likely be wrong):

I did not test human-human relationships but I assume they work just like they are supposed to.

Human-computer alliances are easily changed accurately with triggers. Non mutual alliances work. They work just they should.

Computer-computer can only be mutually allied or mutually enemies. Changing the alliance status of just one computer to allied or enemy sets them both to be mutually allied or enemies.

neutral-neutral: they will not ever attack each other.

computer-neutral and Human-neutral (here, I'm basically just shooting in the dark): Triggers can only effect the actions of the humans and computers. Humans cannot entice neutral players to attack. Computers can entice neutral players to become hostile which then in turn can cause neutral players to attack human players (and other neutral players?).

I think the main reason I am asking for such specific answers is because I'm neurotic, but this would help me map make a bunch.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

1. every player has its own alliance status for every player. if you modify it for that player, you will only effect the alliance status of that player and NOT of other players, too.
2. "Neutral (Computers)" (P1-p8; selecting "Neutral" in the settings instead of computer or human) will NEVER attack. They still can run triggers, but adjusting the alliances will have no effect.
3. computers work like they should and they will shot allied units that directly attack them.
4. Setting any player to allied in every trigger cycle with hypertriggers will cause that most units cannot shot at any not enemy unit.

Not true, each player has their own alliance list, and so you can have any combination of alliances you want.

Player 9-11 will auto-start out as enemies to everyone mutually, and P12 is preplaced as allied to everyone, but if a unit is given to it, the alliance and color of that unit is retained.

I could've sworn I had gotten neutral players to attack, but I can't seem to recreate it so I'll take your word for it.

This was a big eye opener. I was only working with one unit vs one unit combinations, so I would have never gotten that result.
