Honestly, I don't really like using shuriken... Sure, they're cool and fun to throw, but they twist a lot. It's hard to hit things with them, they're actually more like distractions ("Hey, that ninja is getting away! Holy crap, there's a blade flying at me!"). If I'm going to throw something, it's going to be a modified kunai or a bo shuriken.
50% - F. Real pirates pretty much were fantasy pirates. Real ninjas are more stealthy and talk less than fantasy ninja (i.e. Naruto).

hmmm in terms of time...pirates have been on earth longer and are still here whilr the days of the ninja are over and endurance over that long of a period of time (ancient times to modern times) has to count for something....and no u cant compare ninjas to special forces or covert ops because the is too much of a difference...but if u want you can try to find a group that does represent a ninja....and about blowing up a ship....kinda hard if its not near the shore......and a rowboat or thing liek that would be spotted easily...and i doubt ninjas had some form of submarine...also i don't know how many pplz are on a galleon...but i know ninja are only in small groups (village sized) so if a galleon can hold like 500 pplz (i doubt that) the ninjas will just get overrunned...
