I was under the impression that all games in Australia cost more than everywhere else. I know Yahtzee occasionally rants about this.

If you really wanted to buy it you should have just purchased it at the Blizzard Store:

That way you get your cd-keys online and get to download and install the game.

Very true, especially now that the US dollar is ubar weak. I bought 12 months of xbox live for $40 off ebay instead of the $80 it cost here. Companies are used to being in a particular pricing range ($100 for a new game).

aka idmontie

It cost $9.99 at Bookman's for me and last I checked, it cost $19.99 at BestBuy, so, all together, I've only spent 9.99 for 2 copies of SC and SC:BW

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Hahaha. Power your car on Starcraft.

Just be glad it's as popular as it is, if it was out-of-print it could be as much as 200$ a copy.

Ever looked up out-of-print PS1 games on Ebay?

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
