I was just wondering if I'm the only person who doesn't put pictures and clippings on the walls of their room. I see the background of other people's places in stuff like myspace pictures, and they all seem to have 'pimped' their room out. I just never really got around to customizing my room, but I'm starting to think I'm the only one who hasn't. The only things I do have are a few elementary school feel-good awards put in with a thumbtacks. (You know "Best Writer!" or "You did a WHALE of a job!")

I don't have anything at all, I don't like cluttered walls.

I hang up my son's achievements instead of mine, so...

My room was covered in a sea of posters until early 2008 when I had to take them down so I can get my room painted.
A lot of them ended up getting wrecked, and I had to throw them out. So the ones I like most I bought these big frames for and then put them back up on my walls. I must say, the framing adds not only protection but more class.

I only use my room for sleeping in, so I don't put anything up on my walls.

I don't have anything in my room. No wall papers, no posters, no hanging stuff, nothing.

I tend to notice that a lot of asian people are like this with their rooms. I dunno why, like 9 out of every 10 asians i know have blank walls in their rooms.

The only things on my wall is a little tiny New York picture, and this giant mirror that is like anchored into the wall and can't go anywhere else. I also have a little cable plug thingy that is at ground-level (i.e., the middle of my wall.) Other than furniture (such as book shelves), nothing else is covering my walls.
My friend got me a Kurt Cobain poster (probably because he loves posters), but it just sits around because I don't like posters.

I've got 1 poster and that's it: You know, the nude women that has on their back Pink Floyd's albums painted... Yes, THAT ONE!!
I'm proud of it and I love it!

I used to have a poster showing every pokémon. But i ripped that down a few years back. Now I have nothing. I also just sleep in my room, my desk and everything is covered in random junk.

My room has nothing and is dirty as fuck. I share a room with my brother because I live in an apartment. My windows don't have shades so I taped Newspapers on it and I have no pictures or anything on the wall. The only thing on the wall I have is a calendar my grandma put up. I have two computers in my room, one of them my brother's, my own work out machine and different weights, a TV with video and DVD, bookshelf which isn't mine since I don't read books, and my skate parts just lying around in my dirty desk. I would't hang up anything if I had my own place because I'm not gay (No offense)

However, my room is kinda "pimped out" even if I don't use it for more than sleeping.
I have all of my guitars (5 right now) on the walls, they make a good decoration even if they weren't supposed to be such thing. My room's rather small and I needed the space to walk, there was a time 3 of the guitars were in the ground and I couldn't walk normally) so I grabbed a hammer once and put some things in the wall to hang them there.
Other things that are on my room are several architectural works and models that I have done and have no where to place them. I don't throw them away because I eventually destroy them and re-use the material.
I have dark curtains because when I am on vacations I tend to sleep a lot and I don't like sunlight bothering me.
There's also some built in furniture where I put books and other stuff (like my works) but not for decoration as I stated before.

I painted outer space in dark blue on my walls to give the illusion I'm in space. It works too.

Mine is a simple blue, I have about 4 or 5 metal flags like Metallica, Slayer, Disturbed, Darkthrone, ect.. However last summer I painted a mural on my wall out ofd boredom, heres a pic:

I sit at a couple of computer desks in the corner of my apartment's living room, with cables running all over, and some various drawing supplies/storable snacks scattered around. School stuff too, when appropriate.

I only use my room for sleeping and sex thats the reason I don't have anything other than a bed and a lamp in it.

That's rather fun. It reminds me so much to a Salvadorean Art movement here where they use similiar color (more vivid, though) and figures and shapes like so. Ours is probably more abstract, though. Let me get you a few pics.
