Okay, I'm back, I went to my grandparents house, but immediately I had to go to EFY(it's like a mormon church camp), but now I'm back, so expect updates tomorrow, rockz, I'll add that link immediately, but I have 1 day to finish my map, which is woefully behind schedule So I'll update the rest tomorrow.

While fixing my pages due to imageshack's faggotry, I actually got a chance to look at some of these images. In particular, I came across FooFighter's "Desert Low Dirt To High Dirt Transition". How does this deserve to be in the ladder? IMO, this is common sense. You wouldn't put extended cliffs in the ladder, so why on earth is this here? On top of that, it's blocky for such a simple procedure. Looking back on his images, ALL of them are blocky, except for the first one (which has inherent blockiness from the crappy bridge tiles). no wait, I found it near the top.

I'm sorry for calling FooFighter out on this, but there are plenty of terrible submissions from other mappers too. I think that for a ladder, we need some sort of system put forth, where people get to choose what's good and what's not. That way, we can have a somewhat fair way of judging. I'm reminded of OCRemix's way of voting on new songs. They make a thread, and the remixers get to choose if it's good or not. If it's an overwhelming yes, then it's in. If not, try again. An easy way would be for the people actually ON the ladder to vote on which pictures are ladder quality. The other question is where to do this. The terrain forum is so bland as it is, there should be no reason to just make a new thread to keep this thread relatively bare. That would be an easy way to keep it organized for each picture.

I would construe that as Ladder worthy, but that's just my opinion. The sprites are needed, you only use 2, and the blockiness is hidden well by dark colors.

I think it looks great. I think that some of my earlier stuff is not ladder worthy.

Particularly the extended jungle ramp (the building is good), and all the desert stuff.
