nice platform krayzee. do you specialize in twilight? is there any more pieces you can blend that with?

None.

Jun 12 2008, 6:52 pm KrayZee Post #85

No I don't specialize Twilight. And yes, I can mix more blends.

None.

Jun 12 2008, 9:41 pm stickynote Post #86

Anybody can mix more blends; it just takes time and patience. (And a few visits to the eye doctor from staring at the computer screen too long.)

I didn't realize that. Good to know. :bleh:

Also Falkoner, I'd like to remove Frozen Coast since you can still see it on Frozen Island. And Twilight Pyramid should be replaced by the latest one.

Wait, as a matter of fact I'll just change it myself.

Edit Again: Damn Photobucket, it looks like they never took the picture out after I deleted it. Falkoner, add ?t=1213314597 to the Twilight Pyramid URL.

It's alright; you can still use the blend, you just have to use it creatively. Add other bits of scenery, and make it look nice. Maybe you could stack bridges.

If you mean the Pyramid, the new one is just 'better'. Click the "Twilight Pyramid" link on Falkoner's post then in the address bar, copy and paste "?t=1213314597" after it.

Okay, updated, I know, some people should be moved around, but I'm tired, I haven't slept very well for the past 3 days, I'll change the standings sometime later.

I decided to mess around with temple, and this is what I came up with.

Jun 15 2008, 4:15 am JaBoK Post #93

For the temple to dirt part, there's a better piece that's located on the bottom edge of high to low dirt cliffs, that looks like there's a few rocks scattered around, would blend way better then a ramp bit.

All of these new entries would look lots better if the edges were staggered. The perfect rectangles detract.

Not like it's possible in Twilight.

Does that work not mirrored?

EDIT: Actually wait, there's no reason it wouldn't. I must've been seeing it weirdly.

Back from vacation!

@ Jabok: I fixed it just now, and it does look better. Thanks.

@ Jello-jigglers: I don't understand what you mean be "staggered".

OOO! Wilhelm! I like the arch. It is super, orgasmically, smexy. The waterway through ruins is also cool-looking.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
