i'd like to change the color of a unit, (while playing the game), but after that the unit still belongs to the same player.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
Give the unit to a computer player who is rescuable.
Then only human Players can gain the unit while touching them.
The unit will still have the rescuable computer's color.
ok that worked. The player color is green.
I made a drone resuable, so the drone has a different color, blue. Then I tried to make a base and units with that same color. The hatchery still is blue, but any units coming from the hatchery are now the players color, green. so any way to keep the blue color for new units?

not really
you could give all zerg units to a rescuable computer again, but you would have new problems with that because you always need a unit next to the zerg units or you need to create a huge system cycling all units. Then you will only have problems, if another human player brings a unit next to zerg units what will happen in your map, I think.
about players 9 - 11, can their team colors be changed?
None.
Invisible Observer ontop of Hatchery FTW.
Drone builds Hatchery
Hatchery is BLUE
Give Hatchery to BLUE
Hatchery Spawns BLUE Larva
Spawn GREEN Observer
BLUE LARVA > EGG > UNIT
Wtf pwn.
Only drawback with these technique is that you may have to use hyper triggers, and its gonna need either alot of locations, or one location running around rapidly.
