Any progress on this?
I think he completely finished the mod. But, I might be wrong. He just said that he would have it done by the old June 6th deadline, and since its past the original deadline, I assume its done.

If anything cool is ever going on Skype me up under the name "blarghle"

I could have done it if I hadn't too much work. Nearly nothing was done this week.

Now I have some free time. So it will be finished very soon!! Just some more testing and polishing.

Yes, they are being replaced with an special faction. They will be the only ones capable to build infantry, ground vehicles, and choose their side ingame.

I played it, and it's really nice, though I think it needs still some balancing. But don't worry. There are a lot of imba mods as far as I know ;).

Neutral faction can't build supply depots.

*Bump*

I hadn't played this mod yet. Downloading now, but finding the link was a pain. The first post ought to be edited with the link.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
