Bullshit! I just tried it with my two house phones calling my sidekick and my regular cellphone. Didn't work for shit.

Yeah. But whereas a full microwave can heat things up very quickly via focused, powerful microwaves, the microwaves used by cellphones can only heat an object by a very small fraction of a degree.

I do believe microwaves are dangerous, they are just built so that the waves will bounce off the walls and hit the food, and then when you open the door, they are some how ventilated so that you wont get hit by them, I could be wrong...
