Carrier Spazzing Out

I have a carrier in my map that needs to attack a burrowed defilier (which it can see, and should be hostile to), but it goes spazzy. The interceptors pop in and out, but never attack. Anyone seen something like this before?

I made a test map that worked, but now in my real map, it's not working. A couple of ideas I thought it could be, an order trigger on the carrier or a vision on/off thing, but I don't have anything like that firing.

Any ideas guys?

Please attach the real map, I'll look for the problem. As you wrote yourself, it should work and it works in the testmap. The problem is definitely in other triggers.

You're constantly move unit-ing the defiler, I'd guess.

Whenever a unit is moved, it gets a flicker of unattackableness.

Are you constantly setting him to enemy? That might cause problems with interceptors, that, or what Impeached said. And yes, if you are constantly ordering the carrier, that might also be a problem.

 solved now, i was doing an immobilize for all units. Set it to immobilize all units BUT the defilier and it works perfectly. Cheers :)

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Zoan -- ppl do it all the time in PDEs

Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
