SCMDraft2 tile placing problem

After I spend a few minutes placing individual (indexed) tiles on my terrain, I suddenly lose the ability to place any more tiles, either from the index or from the rectangular palette. I select a new tile, click to place it, but it does nothing except re-select the last tile (on the tile index) I successfully placed. It also doesn't change the file at all (so no * re-appears after the file name).

Then I close SCMDraft2 and re-open it and it works for a few minutes before it has the same problem again.

It doesn't have anything to do with the backup DB, because I deleted it once I started getting the error.

Anyone have an idea why this happens?

Yeah, I get the same problem, just run through your menus a little bit and it tends to fix it, I'd have to get it to happen to be again to pinpoint exactly how to fix it though.

Alright, glad to know I'm not alone. Run through the menus, I'll have to try that.

Or, you can try right clicking, or turning the style-thing to copy/paste and right click some more. That's what usually works for me.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

has someone reported that to SI's bug thread?

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Zoan -- ppl do it all the time in PDEs

Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
