Is/was there ever a program that would let you preview your text stacks? I hate changing them and having to remake the map countless times to get it right.
Thanks.
None.
Probably, but everyone here has their own trick.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.
Starforge will preview text correctly if you only use
one alignment character. Luckily, if you're only trying to do a single "stack," that's all you need.
It looks something like this:
Front Text[Right align]Back text[lots of spaces and tabs]
The more spaces and tabs you have, the further the text will be pushed to the left (and under (or was it over?) the original text).
IIRC, A space is 4 pixels, a comma is 3 and a period is 2. If you throw in an invisible color character at the end you can use combinations of periods and commas to get the perfect adjustment.

Well I always found that
Rightalign Spaces, Leftalign text Spaces works for me.
Depends on how you want it to look, left or right ;o

I
was writing a program. I could never figure out the actual algorithm used...
It isn't really hard to just go into the map every time... I usually can get any stack to work properly by only editing once (if at all.)

Algorithm, really? Why not just use trial and error? Have it move over correctly for the number of spaces/characters you input? Oh well, I think you must have thought of all possible ways. I would use it.

Algorithms for how the center/right alignment is calculated.
