Unit selection

when I chose data disc the death value was 6452240

but When did I test in the other map the death value of data disc was 6449552

and when I opened my map the death value of data disc once again changed [finding]

why is it changed frequantly?

----------------------------------------

I found my death value of data disc as 6453248 and it works from player1 to player 2 properly

but from the player3 the deathes value is always chagned whenever I start the map

what is the fomula that used to find the death value of player selection group?

for the current selected unit you have to find with artmoney the offset of the hp of the selected unit then subtract 9.
on 1.15.0-1-2 the player is 6 and the unitid is 1103

If the value you're showing is the death count for the unitnode of the data disc, and you're talking about two different maps, then this is probably what's happening:
The offset of the unitnode depends on the index of the unit - i.e. what order it was placed in. If you're looking at two different maps, then if the units were placed in a different order, their offsets will be different.

Unit ID 1103 is not shared so I can't us this for multiplayer and

but Data disc is not moving...so I can't order data disc to move but even so....the values of death score of unit selection from player3 is kept changing :-(

You must be sure that no variable amount of units are created before it (this includes units placed for other players that are not present.) Also, depending on your editor, adding additional units to the map may change what unit slot it fills.

:><: Ok, I'm speaking for ek w/e. (Since I know him)
He is Korean and does not understand complex English words and the formation of the words. He requests that everyone describe it in more simpler words. Since i'm no EUD Specialist, I don't know what's simple or what's not, but well ya, Loosen up on the complex words because he does not understand it much. Thank you :|
(And don't be a jerk and say "his fault")

The Local ID of a unit is given to the unit when it is made, most simply in the order they are made. When you look at the EUD value at the selected index, you see a pointer to that Local ID. If you have a different map that has a different number of units or order of creation of units, then the Local ID of the Data Disc will be different, so the value will also be different.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
