They do look different. Same with mechanical explosions. Some are slightly different. For example, a corsair and an observer.
There are three different explosions. Basically one for small units, one for large ones, and one for buildings. Protoss things have the same ones, but colored blue.
None.
There is no marine death animation.
I was gonna say... Because ghosts like have little white dots, while marines do not

Terran Marine / Jim Raynor = Same Death Animation
Terran Ghost / Alexi Stukov = Same Death Animation
Terran Marine / Terran Ghost = Similar,
Marines looks like a circle with a dot in the center and the Marines head lands NW of its splatter.
Ghosts on the other hand has everything the Marine has except for the fact that the Ghosts has white dots and the Ghost's head lands NE. A careful observer would also note that the red blood of the Marines head lands is a lot brighter then where its counter part on the Ghost lands is.

Pretty disgusting.

Well for starters, I'm pretty sure that its not your TV your talking about, its your microwave

Um, I didn't want to have anyone by the
hook, I was merely placing more information on how the Terran Marines and Terran Ghost's deaths are different.
None.
> 1 exception however is the SCV. For some reason it will heal ><
Yes, but arn't they Non-Mechanical?
None.
Well, they can also be repaired, which normally is a mechanical trait.
None.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch
scvs are both: mechanical AND biological
Here is the thing that is unique about SCVs
They are both Mechanical and Biological as NudeRaider has stated. A Medic can heal Biological, Non-Mechanical Units. BUT due to maybe a scripting error or just a thing put in there by Blizzard, the SCV is Mechanical AND Biological AND can be healed...
None.
There is no marine death animation.
Yes there is. Its also used by Infested Terran and Civilian. Ghost has a different one though.
There is no dark templar death animation.
SCVs are both bio and mech (open units.dat in datedit). Archons, however, are neither.
Heal: Organic, Ground, Friendly. "Irradiatable" is not repliable because any unit can be irradiated. Only some take dmg from it though.

Yes, that's what I was saying.

O RLY?
There is no marine death animation.
Technically it is a "terran" dying.

I intentionally worded it that way to confuse you. All of these responses are exactly what I predicted.
None.
Interesting. Not important, but still interesting.
Anyways, that should solve your Medic Problem Bronto.
None.
Hmm, I wanna make something like a healing building in a new game, where it uses this method and hides the medic behind a sprite, so it looks like you just walk up to the sprite and you slowly heal.
None.

Let me show you how to hump without making love.
Never thought about using a medic for attack detection, lol. That's kind of a neat concept.
None.
Could also be used in The Thing maps for randomization.

Whats the range (in tiles) of the Medic heal ability? Does it change when you move it to a location that it cant move to?
None.
The range I beleive is 300, or melee. And to create such a building, use sprite, wall it with dts and at the "entrance" place a medic.
None.
300 is way too much, in any way you put it. In pixels, I'd imagine it's 32. In squares in staredit, I'd imagine it's 1. A ghost has a range of 224 pixels, so that shows you how long it should be. Now, a medic's view distance is 288 pixels, or 9 squares. The medic will go heal any friendly it sees if it can.

Im thinking about the sizes in Warcraft
