I want to drink a regular Redline.

Apparently, for my body weight they only lack 2 grams of caffeine for the lethal dose.

I doubt it...

UPDATE: This item is now in the caffeine database: 250mg of caffeine per 8oz bottle of Redline RTD.

In cases of extreme overdose, death can result. The median lethal dose (LD50) given orally, is 192 milligrams per kilogram in rats.[1] The LD50 of caffeine in humans is dependent on weight and individual sensitivity and estimated to be about 150 to 200 milligrams per kilogram of body mass, roughly 80 to 100 cups of coffee for an average adult taken within a limited time frame that is dependent on half-life.

I thought I was going to skate today so I bought a Monster Energy drink. After walking around outside and coming home at 1AM, I started to feel really sick. At first I thought it was the fried chicken I hate today, which was all I ate, but I realized I drank Monster Energy. So I was on my bench rack lying down and then I ended up on the floor rolling in pain. Then I had a sudden craving for candy and juice so I got dressed and was trying to get up but I couldnt so I fell back onto my bench rack and then brushed my teeth and went to bed. So for the cliff, I ended up not sleeping. I guess energy drinks are really bad. This is the 2nd time in a long time I drank an energy drink this year and I had bad experiences from it.

Go to the bottom. Straight Redline, not RTD. The Lethal dose for my body weight is approx. 14,000 milligrams. :P

Syphon, keep in mind that the standard deviation in that study was 0.018 g/kg body weight, so approx 15% of the rats (and so probably humans) died after. If you're in that 15% you'd die after 12.69 grams

Wow... 12g caffeine in that bottle... that's quite dangerous...

I don't drink energy drinks. I just pop No-Doz whenever I feel sluggish.

Of course, after 2 days of doing that, you crash HARD, but it gets those papers written!

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

Oops, caught me there, no I haven't. :( I was imagining how the game went. Sorry for that. Watching it now. brb

NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
