Why wouldn't coffee qualify as an energy drink? it's is a drink, check, it gives you energy, check,- alle requirements fullfilled - it's an energy drink.

Great choice. I drink that when I'm tired in the mornings or when I'm working out. The Vitamin Energy company is in my borough. The drink has great effects and no downers and it doesn't make you tired afterwards. I'm just pissed that 50 Cent partially owns it.

I also often have them in the morning. They give me a good boost and I don't end up crashing later in the day

That's good since it makes up for part of the 8 cups of water you need to drink + it has good vitamins, but if you OD on vitamins, you are risking a chance for cancer.

Diet Pepsi and Coke are about all I use for "energy".

Really, I think you get better energy overall by not shocking your system with caffeinated crap all the time.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I occasionally drink coffee, rarely drink soda. You guys need to survive with very little energy! I live on nothing more then a bit of food and 4 hours of sleep a night.
