Hello Forum,

I have created a map in which 7 AI players are controlled by custom AI. They fight as a team against the human player. When I start the map in melee mode or with “Use map settings”, the AI should behave the same way, right? I have read several times that the Melee AI is the Custom Level AI (Run AI Script At Location(“Protoss Custom Level”, “P2ProtossBlue”);).
But when I play this map, I get a lot more attacks in Melee mode than in UMS mode. The only small difference is the shared map in UMS, which I added via a trigger, but that shouldn't have such a big impact, right?
What is the name of the AI script in Melee mode?

AI Custom Level scripts in the unmodded game will always behave differently in UMS because for all scripts ran in UMS, a campaign aiscript flag is set that changes the way some AI stuff works. So you have the right script, but it will behave differently - for the non-BW scripts, some attacks won't even start because they're using an attack type that does nothing with the campaign flag set.
