Hi, I am a new map maker and I used the EUD.

My problem is that in these EUD maps I can't save the game.

My question is:
Is there a way to save game on the map?

Or is it impossible?

Thanks

No, not in SCR. Should've been possible but I guess they didn't want to put in the effort to detect which savegame-safe EUDs the map is using and instead just did a global disable when any are used (which is kind of the same deal with disabling the extended units limit).

I see...Thanks for your answer.

We do a little trolling

You can implement systems that allow you to save + load certain features of a map.. like you could assign a DC to a player's level in an RPG and then create a save function in the game that gives them a code for their level which they could then input in a new game to restore some of their progress. But a straight up normal save is indeed impossible with EUDs unfortunately.

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Pixel Adventure 2 | Space Snipers | Control the Ball

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"
[05:48 pm]
Zoan -- ppl do it all the time in PDEs

Zoan -- Heinermann
Heinermann shouted: it also didn't solve that problem but hey as long as the investors are pleased
Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative

NudeRaider -- I only heard about it, didn't any news article, so what did it do then?

Heinermann -- it also didn't solve that problem but hey as long as the investors are pleased

NudeRaider -- I have no idea tbh. All I know no human was ever able to solve it, but there's at least a few that beat portal ;)

Zoan -- Navier Stokes is not that esoteric I thought

Zoan shouted: I find it kind of sad that on the same day it was announced AI solved Navier Stokes, it was also announced AI beat Portal, and there's a good deal of people who don't know which is more impressive
you find it sad not everyone is a math nerd?
