Hi,

So I learned today that UNIx/UNIS will not update any unit settings unless the flag for saying the unit settings aren't default is set.

See: http://www.starcraftai.com/wiki/CHK_Format#.22UNIS.22_-_Unit_Settings

Confusingly I would think a flag of 0 meant to use default values, but 0 means use custom values.

Curious that the flag can be set to 1 but you can still store in the CHK the modified values and SC will happily ignore them.

None.

I see you !

That is good design - that way if you disable custom settings, and later re-enable them, you didn't lose what you had configured.

hmm I guess I am thinking from writing UNIx programmatically.

I wouldn't add custom settings if I didn't intend to use them.

I guess from using the GUI it makes more sense to do it this way.

I invite you to try out the map I modified. I don't have the creativity to create maps from scratch, but I do have the know-how to modify existing ones; my project is to tweak community campaigns (specifically those with errors—to make them playable.

Ultraviolet shouted: Mr.BurnLiquid actually yeah though I wasn't really saying it to narc on you. It just caught me off guard because I don't usually see it (because it's against the rules) "The avatar may not be bigger than 150x150 pixels". Kinda silly that it relies on users to be well behaved rather than just limiting the dimensions on uploads
Now that I wanted to change my avatar, the error image is showing up, haha.

Mr.BurnLiquid shouted: Ultraviolet Thanks; I'm new to the site and a Spanish speaker. I must have missed the part where it was prohibited—I'll change it now.
I invite you to try out a mission I'm modifying from *StarCraft Reversed*; I'm trying to make it more playable and challenging.
