BWAI Replay Pack?

I'm just a fish

A while ago, I think it was bajadulce that put together a huge collection of "blank" replays so you could use them to test custom AIs. It was hosted on the BWAI site, but since it went down the download is no longer there. I used to have it myself but lost it a year or two ago due to OS corruption. I was wondering if anyone might have it handy?

None.

I only have the tool to do them (though it's from IskatuMesk, so thank him, not me, if it's useful) - it's really lightweight so I'll attach it here. No idea how it works, for the record.

Yar, thanks to both of you. The exe doesn't work, but I extracted the blank scripts and plopped them into the patch_rq. You pretty much just have to fire up a game and just let it sit there for however long you want. The blank AI doesn't do anything, but when you save it as a replay and load it with another script it'll work. I "recorded" a few simple replays and I'd upload them for public usage but I've no clue where Starcraft saves these replays now, they're not in the traditional "Replays" folder.

None.

You can most likely record them on 1.16.1 and watch in 1.20 if you couldn't find the replays. But besides that, if nothing's changed since 1.18, they should be in C:\Users\*\Documents\Starcraft\maps\replays

Ye, I found em, thanks. I attached the replays below, they're all just 1v1s of each race with a random 6 player FFA. The latter was an initial test to make sure it was working so I used a few cheats. Each replay is about 40 minutes long. Will gradually do more~

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
