I'm in the market for a new monitor, and since I do a lot of windowed gaming, I figure it's time to up my monitor's refresh rate a bit. I might have to just deal with 75 Hz, as decently priced monitors don't seem to exist yet.
Requirements (order of importance):

IPS or 170+/170+ degree viewing angle

freesync (I have an AMD 7850)
I'm not familiar with freesync/gsync, but I presume they are better vsync tools and aren't required to reach 144/165 hz.
Are there any monitors out there that are under $500 with these stats? Additionally, any I should keep my eye on for black friday/periodic deals?
Also, I've been away from the TN game for a long time now (at least 10 years) since I like to rotate my monitors occasionally and I don't mind the response rates/contrast ratios, but I do like the color accuracy especially at wide viewing angles. Have TN panels become better at this so I might be able to grab a 160/170 monitor for a lot cheaper?

You're a smart dude rockz so I don't think this is going to be anything you don't know, but this is the only thing PCPP has after putting in your requirements:

Looks like freesync maxes out at 90 Hz on that guy, and it was $400 August last year. Not that I'd need freesync, but still pretty good deal.
Turns out my 7850 won't support freesync anyway. Guess this one is perfect to watch?

Why the hell would a company make a $200 without a vesa mount, much less a $500 monitor without a vesa mount? Wish I could buy without the stand too. The last dell monitor I purchased (came essentially free with my TV) was actually cheaper to purchase with stand than without.
Terribly disappointed in the IPS monitor selection though. I would have expected that SIPS would be mainstream by now, what with cell phones, macbooks, and lots of laptops all using IPS or OLED for the superior viewing angles. That's one major thing that turned me off about old laptops.
