So is it theoretically possible to modify the memory of BW's Mac client to enable LanLat? We know the offset and value to change for the Windows client. How would one find where the offset is for Macs?

None.

I think the offsets are all the same (though they possibly diverge after the unit table, it's been too long for me to say), but the endiness is reversed, so you have to correct for that in EUDs. If you are using a third party program for this, note that BW addressing is not static (tldr heinermann rant: not always) like in windows so you need a way of finding the base address or some point within BW's stack mem.

Vrael -- though I wonder if at that level basically almost every match is over in like 3 minutes

Vrael -- yeah good point lets see the highlights reel from that

Oh_Man -- thats how it was trained to begin with, thousands of AI vs AI matches

Vrael -- see how far we can really take things

Vrael -- what they need to do is have some AI vs. AI matches
[03:06 am]
Oh_Man -- i'm sure there's a limit to that

Vrael -- if your mediocre army can fight perfectly every time, why bother with strategy
[03:05 am]
Vrael -- but from a gameplay perspective I think all its shown is that you can trade 1000's of apm to make up for lack of strategy

Vrael -- I did enjoy the non traditional builds and unit usage though
