Hello people of bnet. I was wondering if there was a way for me to show players the entire map without placing maprevealers everywhere stacked because that would take up a lot of unit space for me. Thanks!

At the very beginning of the game it will show if you remove the entire Fog of War layer, but just for a moment, then the fog of war will return, but at least they can see the terrain.

Also, you could just place map revealers for a computer player (if there is one) and have it vision all the other players, at least that way you dont need X map revealers times Y players. Or you could place them all for a single non-computer player and force everyone to share viz all the time. Of course if that player were to die/leave the game you'd need to give his revealers to another in-game player.

Cartography Artisan

Map revelers are the best way, though you can de-fog-of-war the whole map and share vision between players to have the "whole map" revealed, though some places will phase in-and-out of vision.

You can place map revelers for one always-present-player, remove them where invincible/always present units reside, at little cost.

edit: lol both suggestions ninja'd =D, though I should point out that you can't give map revelers

You can give map revealers. You cannot use "Give Map Revealers at Location" since Map Revealers don't exist in any location, but you can use the non-location specific "Give Unit" action on them.

You're thinking of "Remove Unit" and "Remove Unit At Location." There is only one "Give Unit" action, and it requires a location to be specified (i.e., you cannot give Map Revealers from one player to another).

This might be a stupid question but I cant find the right share vis to use with computers. I want a computer to share vis with 7 other players. Does player 9 work?

No, you can only share vision with players 1-8.
