Oh man I feel the nostalgia here.

Anyblags, I'm having an issue with SCM Draft 2 0.8.0 (latest version):
Yesterday, I had no issues with it whatsoever. Everything was working fine. I left it up all night when I got off (after saving my map, of course) and then closed it later that day to play League. After a few rounds, I opened SCM Draft 2 0.8.0 again, and now anytime a location is within my screen, it crashes immediately, on every map. Not just the one I was working on. I have no idea what might be causing this.

Any ideas? :flamer:

Uninstall and reinstall SCMDraft from here: http://www.stormcoast-fortress.net/temp/Scmdraft2-setup.rar, in windows properties unblock the .rar before continuing - not much to be done about non-map related SCMDraft crashes but reinstalling.

If you don't want to re-install, try clearing the backup database. It can get ridiculously large and if it does will cause a lot of problems with SCMDraft.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.
