Are you clicking on the button with the check mark in the top leftish corner? That's what saves the changes you make.

Yeh you press the compile button, I don't think you even need to press the save button.
Usually you'll get something like:
Error at line X.
Error at line Y. Done!

If it says Done! it means it successfully compiled.

If it says:
something like 'expected' or some such it means you made some error in the code like incorrect unit name location name or other missing syntax.

Use an editor that does the counting for you (e.g. http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.2.3.html ), because yes, you have to count.
Trigedit never got completed so it's still in its alpha stage and as such has like zero functionality, except compiling the triggers you put in.

In general, you should make new triggers with classic trigedit, then copy/change triggers with a combination of Notepad++ and trigedit.

You really shouldn't be using trigedit other than to copy/paste triggers that you have created/edited in an external program (or another map). There are many coding languages now created specifically for trigedit, which can be very useful if you learn how to use them.

You can just paste it in to Notepad and press Ctrl+G and type the line number. (But this might be a feature only in Vista or 7 ...)

NimoStar -- But Terran players did win the game against the bot. So it is conclusive, Terran OP ;)=

NimoStar -- They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available

Vrael shouted: wasnt even that really, they 6000 apm just made the terran army so much more value/$ that the extra economy didnt matter
Well yes and no. The apm made him win the battle, but I'm not convinced a pro player can't account for that. He got caught with his pants down so it's not really representative of a prepared player. And the extra economy absolutely would've mattered if that push didn't almost immediately end the game.

NudeRaider shouted: Oh_Man nothing too special tbh. the human player wasn't ready to combat the push that stretched almost the whole map. So this game means nothing. We'll have to see how it goes once the humans have adjusted for its unorthodox strategies.
they basically lost most of their army in one big battle and didn't have the time and production to leverage the economic advantage and come back from that blow.

not sure why you are so hyped, when basically the same happened 7 years ago with AlphaStar on SC2.
