It's been almost a year since I logged in, I believe it's overdue now that I hand SEN over to whoever is dealing with it now.

The VPS is $30/month, due on the 18th of every month. Let me know who wants it.

Sorry to see you go. If I had a job I might pay for this site for a while... but I don't. Sorry.

Just Here For The Pie

Sorry to see you finally step down, IP. :-(

I have always wanted to donate to SEN, but I just do not have the spare cash to do so.
Let us hope whoever picks up SEN can support it well.

Wait but... what ... when is IP coming back? I'm so scared...

Tempting since I already own a dedicated server and it wouldn't cost me anything to annex. But I would be just as negligent, so not a good idea.

Holy shit. If IP stops paying the bill, SEN dies.

I'm going to automatically assume that DevliN will take care of it. Otherwise, SEN could become a dictatorship under my rule.

The sword and the faith

Whoever takes over, I remind everyone that the ability to pay the bills does not make one qualified to have ownership of SEN.

It does qualify them to threaten to stop paying, though. :P

I don't care who it is, as long as someone manages to pay.

Unless the person who pays the bills decides that it does.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
