Yea I knew this chick... what was her name... I knew this chick named music that told me if I do her she would help make popular. Understand I was chess club and glasses, yet to miss a class, promises of honor role ongoing mainstream. So I flew her to the luver, dedicating ever minute to her. Studies went toilet, my mind was on tour and seeing me and her getting awards hoping off the plane onto the stage. She promised me that it would never end and like a varsity sport I had to let her in.

Because of her I was ignoring my studies for a while, but now I am afraid of failing finals. That means I will never be a fresherman.And I have squandered everything I have invested in. I bought when I shoulda sold. Success is spelled with two T's talent and time and until then I'm just living in my mind where I am popular.

Most of us probably are, but we don't like to admit it. The people who post all those stories are the the ones with more relationships. If you have little/no relationships, what's to tell?

Anyway, I seem to piss off every girl I meet. So, no, I do not.

You would think that one is troublemaker over internet but quite opposite in real life. Not this case. I stole from my employer, the bank I was working in. It was about 50000$. After a year or so they found out. I was arrested, of course. Spent 2 days in prison, court considered that I won't run and let me loose. Eventually I got 4 year probation and now I work in spirits store.

Never had a gf, don't currently want one, although I daresay if I wanted one I could get one. I've got different ideas on dating and marriage and such than most people, particularly compared to the American dating culture, which I'm enormously opposed against because of the damage it causes.

Right, so I don't think she broke up with you because you were in prison for 2 days, she broke up with you because you had a criminal record and would never get a decent job again because theft as a servant is a huge deterrent to future employers.

Not entirely sure what 'damage' you're talking about, but the traditional christian marriage isn't exactly the bee's knees either.

Lots of women ended up in abusive relationships that they couldn't get out of, or even just loveless / sexually unfulfilling relationships because they rushed into marriage too soon or at a young age when they weren't really ready for it yet. Similarly a lot of men ended up being abusive to their wives because they also rushed into the marriage too soon or at too young an age and the stigma of divorce was too great so they ended up taking their frustrations out on their wives/children. I guess the answer is more "don't rush into marriage" than "don't follow christian morals around marriage", though.

Not all of them. There are some spiritually developed individuals out there who realise that basing your life/relationships around improving your financial security will only lead to even more insecurity being felt and that "money buys happiness" is the oldest trick in the book most people still fall for. A friend of mine had this idea for a play: a fundamental christian family believes the world is going to end on a specific date and they base their entire lives around it. When that day comes, the world obviously doesn't end and all their ideas are crushed. The audience obviously think "Hahaha, they believed in such nonsense, I would never fall for anything that retarded" but look around: most people believe in nonsense imposed by capitalism and base their entire lives off it. Most of the family members jump to another date under some "God is revealing his will gradually" excuse, just as most people would jump back to the status quo of capitalism even if it becomes obvious that it will not bring them happiness.

I think your friend should write that play, JaFF. It would be quite a wake up call for many.

First, I've met her on Diablo1... sound wierd but it ended that she was in my class... *elementary school* (2 years) Ended terribly. She been cheating me, and for what I know, she suicided.

Second, my best friend's cousin... it ended into a long-distance relationship cuz of a bitch raging friend of her. (2 years) Since friendship seems to win over love at this age... it ended getting 2 bitch against me for couple months.

Third, I've met her on Msn, while I was playing Starcraft, i got Invited into a multiple people's convo. I didn't bother much with it. When I quit Starcraft for the night, I checked the whole convo, and noticed a girl getting invited and that been leaving everytime... I added her. 2 week later, I had my first "rendez-vous", at the theater, obviously. Althought, seems like it worked since, 6 years+ later, I'm still with her. My first date with my girlfriend was such a mess (Terrible movie [Documentary about children getting hit and stuff]... that she chosen and didn't even watch it, she was talking to her friend)... so did the second date[Outside while it was raining, I had no cloth [Somehow, we have to clean them one day, uh] so I went to see her with an old T-shirt & Boxers], but meanwhile, it was perfect, it just "clicked" wonderfully.


For what I've seen... Girl seem to enjoy "nerd loser" for a "real life" instead of "show-off" which mostly stand for one night stand. But it goes with the maturity.
Although, you need to give yourself a chance, but do not push to much. If you want a girl, you need to know how she think, to make yourself fit in it. Samething for a girl wanting a dude. The first date must me prefect (perfect doesn't mean flowers, theaters, restorant, etc... it has to be perfect for the 2 peoples). (it has to be "magic")

Plus if it was a good Christian marriage there a) wouldn't be any abuse, b) wouldn't be loveless or sexless. I agree that people rush into marriage too early often, but at the same time if you don't believe the Hollywood idea of falling in love, then loving someone who might not be the "one" that you hoped for is quite possible. In fact, if two Christians or people in general were married through an arranged marriage, it is entirely possible to have a productive, healthy relationship with each other. Love isn't something that just "happens", you have to work at it. And I'm not saying that all Christian marriages are perfect, but certainly having a common faith can overcome all sorts of flaws and obstacles in a poorly thought out marriage.

Alternatively, things like shotgun marriages and the restriction of sex outside marriage might cause a lot more "poorly thought out" marriages.

Refine that to read "When a man likes a woman, and she doesn't like him, she doesn't want to talk to him. Otherwise, she never shuts up.".

It comes down to what you value is what your mate should value, and the hope is that when values change you are both responsible/mature enough to ride it out together, or else mutually and peacefully break it off.

Jack is a Christian, and obviously takes his faith very seriously. That is important to him. He wants his mate to acknowledge this is important to him. Since he holds the Bible in great esteem, and the Bible preaches equally yoked marriages, and as such a direct interpretation would be important. In order for the relationship to function properly, the woman would have to agree that yes, this is important and should be held in high esteem, otherwise it will not work out - at the very least, Jack will never be happy. It follows that since the Bible preaches against premarital sex, both Jack and his companion should agree to wait.

Someone secular on the other hand, with no religious code, may not be bound to the same ideas. They may be alright with having sex before marriage or with several people without a strong emotional bond. It may even be that a well functioning sex life is very important to this person, and they may feel that a marriage may not work out if the sex life is not there first. As such they want their mate to be on board with this idea entirely - if the person does not want to wait until marriage, than the marriage will never happen with someone who will not have sex before hand.

Some secular and religious people don't care either way - they have found a reason to validate having sex or not having sex before marriage and are sticking to it. It could be that they want an emotional connection first, they are really horny or enjoy sex, that they are phobic/have mental scarring of the acts...etc. It runs the gambit. It follows with other areas - can a secular and religious person marry and be happy? Of course. They can also be absolutely miserable.

But what is important is that you and your mate agree on these terms.

I think friends with benefits is the best system, personally.
