I have a spell in my map that each trigger cycle creates 3 hallucinated units and instantly kills them for a smoke effect. The problem is, the hallucinations only appear some of the time. I have checked to make sure the trigger is constantly running (with hyper triggers). The sound of the hallucination is present but no actual visual effect.

Make sure in the properties of the units you correctly checked Hallucinations?

Yes, like I said, the hallucinated effect does actually work some of the time. And the times it doesn't work, the sound effect of a hallucination death is active but the visual effect is not.

A better course of action would be to post what the problem was and how you solved it, so this thread might be useful to someone else at some point.

Woah

too many spirits on the map can cause it?
too many units on map can cause it?
too many untis firing at once can cause it?
Do you have one of these issues?

Zoan -- of course it isn't full understanding. You could ask "is the mechanism by which this counterexample blows up the ONLY mechanism possible for an initial configuration to blow up?"

Constructing a counterexample is answering the question: "Is Navier Stokes well posed?" in the negative
