Minecraft 1.0? Meh, unless they fix it's 1001 glaringly obvious faults then I might consider running it.

1.0 has been a huge success. Apart from a strange crash and a memory error, the game runs smoother than ever, and the server uses barely any resources now. Lag? What lag. The nine of us managed to land 2 ender pearls, and we did a expedition into the nether. We found a mine shaft and a ravine, got a ton of mats, and overall enjoyed ourselves.

So, pretty much the same thing you could've done 6 months ago with the exception of a new mob and a more dynamic generation algorithm?

Eh more like 5 mobs, a brewing system, stable software, newer environments, the enchanting system and moar.
Its quite enjoyable being on a server with more than 2 people. 9 is certainly a change.

It could've been 10...but female companions are so damn needy...
It was sorta a specific group that did it. The members of The Herd (Our Firefall brony army) were all invited for the weekend to celebrate minecraft 1.0 and we built quite a bit. Ill post vids soon

I'm also in, as the Forum Games section Mod, but I'm not a brony. I rationalize it as I'm on a FireFall forum that happens to have a rather large portion of...them.
Sucks notch had to make minecraft. I wish minecraft had better developers. I mean yeah I'm grateful for an awesome game and everything but notch is a fucking lazy piece of shit, all his blog posts are about vacation... friggin mods do a better job optimizing his shit code. When he announces features in new updates, people make the friggin update in a mod, before he even releases it. /end rant... I fucking hate notch, I love minecraft.
