Well, last time I leave my Minecraft on when my dad gets on the computer. Severe errors are spamming literally out the ass.
EDIT: woops, turns out that was a power outage.
EDIT2: So, this is what the Far Lands looks like. More or less, Minecraft starts to run out of numbers at X and Z coordinates ±12,550,820. Then things get really fun, such as this picture taken from the normal area looking at the corner at 12,550,820 X and Z.
As you approach either X or Z 21,550,820, the map generates these massively long, tall, and narrow valleys. They continue forever, and rarely close up. If/when they do, it's not for long. They're almost completely linear along whichever axis you were approaching from (say, you're coming X 21,550,800. You'd start to see these forming "forward" in the region. The areas where X or Z (not both) is greater than 21,550,820 (or less than -21,550,820) is called "the loop". Probably because the valleys kinda resemble a loop or something. So, what happens if you approach two corners of "the loop"? Well, you get "the stack". Basically, take what you have earlier, and make the "valleys" along the X and Z axis. It's actually a much nicer place than you'd associate with the end of the world; the layers are almost totally flat. There's lots more fun, but you'd have to see it to realize how truly fucked up it is.
Looking at the corner of the Stack.
Randomly along the stack, there's places where Minecraft goes "OH SHIT" and realizes it's fucked up. Something like this occurs at those places, which are probably chunk borders. Sourceless light as well as illegitimate propagation? fun fun.
Alright, this one was me just confirming that the valleys do eventually stop at bedrock. Seems like not all of Minecraft is fuxxored here.
Here you can see what most of the stack looks like, from the top. A flat layer, but not lacking Biomes. Don't fail to note the coordinates either...yes, that's an E7, as in 1.25519430727...x107.
EDIT3: Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention, but this is on a different world than what we had been building on. I'm not risking the little bit of time that I put into my funhouse so far on something like this.
EDIT4: OH HOT DAMN, alt tab back and found a skeleton riding a spider. Unusual enough, but here in the Stack, he's about two or three blocks from where he should be. Though he's clearly sitting, and upon the spider's death he dismounted. WEIRD SHIT CAP'N
P.S. sorry bout the darkness
