Also, I don't always play ranged casters. I do play Ryze a lot when I'm trying to get IP or improve my record, because I have my highest win rate with him - likely because I can basically fill two roles by playing him, which is especially useful in solo queue.

Well, first off your team had a duo lane Irelia...And Duo lane Singed. Singed has thornmail before a Frozen Heart. Something wrong with that Graves not being fed too as he's even worse than Vayne release.

I was purposely ignoring Singed, man...The fact that he is building almost exclusively tank is bad enough, don't go criticizing his actual item choice too.
Your team's items aside, they were all trolling Akali. Nobody had a sensible build other than her on their team. Sorry I didn't even look at their items, I didn't think that was what you wanted us to see. I thought you were pointing out that the number of kills you have equals the number of kills on their team.

I played one of the coolest games I've ever played as an AD carry before. I was Vayne with a Taric supporting against a Caitlyn and Mordekaiser. This lane quickly turned incredibly aggressive, easily the most aggressive lane I've ever been in where we kept trading blows and killing each other. This got to the point where it was practically impossible to turn the lane passive again and farm. By the end of the laning phase I was 11/6/6 with 56 CS but had my core items for the midgame (Triple Dorans + Black Cleaver and Boots 2).

I was the one with Irelia up top (I think Brand was mid against Akali?). Shen and Tryndamere were in the lane I was in. I just went roaming pretty much almost the rest of the game once we destroyed the tower up top. Notice my very low minion kills score. I was the lowest level on the team mid-game as a result of the roaming, but it didn't really feel like it because of being ahead on items.

Second pick Malphite. They had three players after I picked Malphite to take a mage or something. What do they do instead? They got raped, that's what. 5-capped for the last 130-odd points, as I hold off Yorick and GP by myself on their bottom tower, the rest of my team is 3v4 on their top tower. Almost killed GP and leaving Yorick with less than a quarter hp, losing maybe half myself, in that 2v1.
As a side note, it's amazing what happens when you interrupt 3 channels and get a triple. Instant +a bajillion score points. Kids thought I'd just run with 200 hp. :bitchplease:
Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
