I remember that I first started it excessively in 6th grade. Since then it's been on and off. I don't see your parents have anything to do with your swearing. My dad in general doesn't care at all, so I might swear around him sometimes -- my mom doesn't like me to. Why would there ever be a need to swear around your parents (barring some stupid arguement)? Other than that, school is complete freedom for that stuff. I don't swear too often most of the time though. Also, I stay away from swearing around girls just about completely. Swearing is not something I think about, and it shouldn't be for anyone -- other than racial slurs and such, which I stay away from -- it's just language.

Don't you love trolls?

You've never been on bnet, have you?

Relatively ancient and inactive

Well, unless 'damn' and such counts as swears, I don't.

👻 👾 👽 💪

I was one of those little 8 year olds on Battle.net trying to be cool. :P I later outgrew that (thankfully.) My friends used to swear a lot and I'd get angry with them... then I switched schools and picked up some light usage. Then when I hung out with them again they'd laugh about how I was so anti-swearing before.
I pretty much only swear when trying to be funny, quoting something, or I feel it apropriate.

I pretty much live there, thanks.
People aren't that bad on b.net. Go play Gmod, or CSS, or Halo.
Those people are retarded.
People on B.net are assholes, yes, but they're hardly a phenomenon.

Out of all the games I've played people on Battle.net are the worst, and I've played both CSS and Halo.

Being your resident GMod 24/7 player currently until StarCraft 2 comes, I can say to NEVER leave your volume on when a server allows for people to talk. You get nothing but retarded kids talking to their mom's saying about how they need money for a new class or something...

I can remember being 7 or 8 with my brother and cousins, and as soon as the adults were away we'd be like "Hey! Let's cuss!"

We were so hardcore back then.

Swearing, most often, makes you sound like an idiot.

When it doesn't, you are, most likely, displaying something in an intense form.

"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?"

VS.

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?"

OR

"YOU BASTARD! or YOU ASS!"

VS.

"YOU STINKER! or YOU MEANIE!"

Heh. I guess I started swearing around age 12, but, only when I found it absolutely necessary in displaying my emotions and opinions.

Oh_Man -- No APM in chess. Computer just outthinks the human by seeing more moves ahead and more permutations

Oh_Man -- U reckon? Kasparov waa defeated by computer decades ago

NimoStar -- If its any consolation, the human brain would still mop the floor with this bot if it wasn't limited by the mechanical interface
[05:34 pm]
NimoStar -- Well. The bot didn't come up with any new strategy. It just has superhuman micro. Hard to beat that. I reckon even the simplest dedicated chess engines are unbeatable for humans now.

NudeRaider -- NimoStar
NimoStar shouted: They were not "Unprepared" that was their fifth loss in a row against the bot. The other replays are also available
that doesn't mean he was prepared. When humans come around with new strategies it often takes weeks until the pros figure out how to shut it down. Oh_Man that's certainly a way more convincing argument for micro being "too good to beat".
