I was sort of assuming Killer was the Zombie as he has no special role other than Townsperson, and the "Zombie" role is only revealed to us after the ability is used to kill someone else. But I may be assuming too much.

After you get lynched, we have 2 Mafia left. One will be killed by the Zombie (presumably), and one will be killed by the Boondock. I don't see what the issue is.

Wouldn't we want to keep at least one of the docile mafia alive? The Cult Leader can't win if a mafia member still exists, and this will give us more time to find and lynch him.

Not that much searching is necessary. There's only a small number of people that can possibly be the Cult Leader, and I'm fairly certain of who exactly it is. Time reveals all things.

The issue is that the cult is sneaking up on the town. The cultists, if Azrael is one, will be the ones in power. This way, there's only the boondock that is able to kill.

Hell, who am I kidding? The pardoner is a dumbass. Saving Azrael when (if worst came to worst) he could be the cult leader, AND I could bring him back if need be, is possibly the biggest mistake ever. He's literally untouchable, regardless of his role. Thanks for giving Azrael the game, regardless of his alignment. Azrael, say thanks to Roy for me.

No, he would only be a dumbass if he had purposely let the mayor die and actually expected you to reverse it.
