Yes.
I've been thinking about making an awesome map.
It's kinda AoS map(likes DoTA, Chaos, Temple Siege...) including EUD condition/action triggers.
As you've seen, General Starcraft I triggers can't modify units' speed, units' hit point, weapons' amount, weapons' cooldown......
But as you know, using EUD, Those are all possible.
Heroes can change their speed by using skills or achieving their level,
Heroes can be invisible and visible so we can make kinda assassin.
Even we can realization blizzard by stasis field, tropical storm by yamato gun(we can modify range of yamato gun so it can come a long way. waht's more, yamato gun can give splash damage.)
I'd worked once, but I realized I can't make this map by myself because I am not good at making terrain, skill effects and regulating balance. (Lacking of ideas too.)

So I am finding map makers who can help me and work with this map !

Terrain maker :: Who can make great AoS terrain.
Skill effect maker :: Who can make skill effects splendidly.
Balance&bug manager :: Who can play SC1 game well (?) . Finding the bugs and regulating game balance.
And any ideas, thank you!

I am waiting you who want to make this awesome map !!
Please leave your thoughts and questions !

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Just a heads up:
1) These "help me make a map" threads hardly ever work
2) AoS has been done and redone so many times
3) Starcraft 2 is out, and your effort would be better suited there.
4) EUDs require a mod to work and are not the same for macs.

Still Napping

the problem with EUDs, as rockz pointed out, is that it requires a mod to work correctly, meaning that common online play like Temple Siege is impossible. It's unlikely that anyone skilled enough would do anything for free, but offer enough minerals and you may get a little interest.

Your best bet it is to learn how to do these things yourself. It's your idea.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
