so, i have like 50 strings left, and for some reason, SCMdraft2 wont properly import sound files. it imports them and theres just no sound for some reason. it sometimes crashes when i click the "play sound" from the sound editor. and its not a problem with the file, i've checked that. any1 know how to get around this?

Are you using PCM wave files? You can't just import any file. MP3s or ADPCM (compressed .wav) won't work.
Go into your sound editor and save the files as
.wav (PCM)
mono
16 bit
sampling rate doesn't matter but it's recommended to take 11 kHz (11025 Hz).

Also, if you import files that have spaces in their name into SCMDraft, they won't play back in the preview or in-game.

haha for sure. in some ways it's even more exciting because you can play EUD maps on regular battle.net, don't need to convince someone to download your mod to play with you. what did you do?[2026-5-31. : 6:47 pm]
