Hey guys, its black friday. WOOOOOO! Have you guys thought about what you're getting people for Christmas?

I hate shopping. A lot. Especially this time of year. Which is too bad, because I think Christmas lights are beautiful. But the shopping onslaught drives me crazy. I don't mind the lines, I don't mind having to wait for a product to come in, I hate people. Anyways, that being said, I think I'm going to be making my gifts this year, and I think I know what I want to make people, the problem is finding a place/time to make it. After school gets out I think it'll be a lot easier for me. So...

My twin sister: a portrait of her baby. I need to find someplace to paint where she won't be, though.
Younger sister: hand sewn wallet or makeup bag, probably with an embroidered fleur de lis. She loves those things for some reason.
Older sister: no fucking idea.
Mom: Probably something embroidered. If I knew how to knit or crochet I'd make her a blanket, but I don't think I could learn and make it look nice in a month (I guess I could try, though.
Dad: No fucking idea.

Friends: truffles, fudge and chocolate bark.

Sooooo how about you?

Rest of family: I don't even care for them, good luck trying to get gifts from me.

Payne - progressively pissed.

My friends are getting CDs, and so are my folks.
My oldest nephew will be getting the newest Red vs Blue DVD.

I doubt that I will find a gift for my sister and young nephew.

Friends: Treat them to a restaurant
Parents: Probably give them money for clothes
Cousins: Clothes for female sneakers for male.
Younger cousin: Something fun and educational. I know he likes games, but I don't want him to grow up to be a slob.
Brother: Invite him to eat with my friends at the restaurant
Sister: Nothing. I dislike her. Maybe some holiday rape.
Uncles and Aunts: This is where I'm stuck. I don't know what to give them. The past few years, I would just send them a card with a generic message. They are all rich, so I don't really know what to get them.


This is going to be my first year actually getting presents for everyone.

I pile up my Christmas credits for a titanic supergift in the future.

I already gave a list of presents in payne's topic. Whenever I'm getting a gift for someone where I'm not sure what they want, I just find something funny. For example, I got my sister's boyfriend this last year:

Truffles are fun and easy to make. I've done that before...

I used to get candy or something for my friends, but I don't usually get anyone anything ... nobody usually gets me anything, either (I specifically tell them I don't want or need anything). I do visit everybody, though.

I like making them too, but I cheat. I roll the middle into balls, place it on the candy paper, and then pour chocolate on it. I know you're supposed to dunk, but my way is easier.

I have 12 friends to buy Christmas presents for, and 3 birthdays immediately after Christmas...

The only thing I've done so far is chipped in with my girlfriend to get a DS game for one of our friends.
