Turn 1<Probably the same as everyone else's>
Turn 2Wing Zero and Tempz begin to leave north, but you position yourself between them and the exit, arms extended across the door to prevent them from leaving.
As a group of people are leaving to the east, EzTerix begins rummaging through the pockets of the corpse. Aristocrat tries to convince him to stop, but he continues. He finishes searching the clothes and slips something into his pocket, then joins the group entering the dining room to the east, now consisting of LoTu)S, Nasus, payne, and EzTerix.
Aristocrat walks over to the corpse, and removes the knife from the body. It appears he is taking care not to touch the hilt in the process. He states, "I will be saving this for evidence as I can see what seems to be outlines of fingerprints on the hilt, making it easy to identify the killer later on." He examines the hilt and nods in satisfaction.
He then announces, "Even though Roy was the first person in the room, do not place all suspicion on him because it is possible that the killer left the room then re-entered later on to frame the first person who showed up; be careful."
He goes on to say, "Stay together so the killer cannot isolate small groups of us and take down people without others finding out."
Aristocrat and DavidJCobb then begin to search around the room. They both walk over to a small wooden stand in the corner, opening the drawer on the front of it and looking inside. DavidJCobb walks away from it, while Aristocrat takes something out and pockets it. Aristocrat then goes up the staircase, leaving the room.
The people remaining in the room now are Wing Zero, Tempz, DavidJCobb, Roy, arkla, Vi3t-X, and Tristana.
Turn 3Tristana and Tempz go up the staircase and onto the landing. You walk up discretely behind them, and look into the room. Looking around, the area is rather plain. The only object you see here is a painting hanging on the wall, depicting the petals of some sort of red flower. Aristocrat and rayNimagi are standing here already, with Aristocrat holding a bloody knife in his hand.
rayNimagi turns away to look at the painting on the wall. As he does so, Aristocrat dashes towards him, and rayNimagi turns back around. As he does so, Aristocrat pulls his fist back and thrusts it forward directly into rayNimagi's abdomen. As rayNimagi keels over, Aristocrat wraps his arm around rayNimagi's neck, putting him into a headlock.
You decide it would be best not to walk in on this situation and remain in place, observing unnoticed.
Aristocrat says something, though you can't make it out. As he continues, you can hear his tone is angry.
He pulls back his other arm and punches rayNimagi in the temple. He follows up with two more sharp blows to the same spot, and rayNimagi's body goes limp.
Aristocrat turns to Tristana and Tempz, saying something.
Tristana walks back to the staircase, mere feet away, and looks directly at you.
Note: To clarify your earlier question, moving around a room uses actions (it's included for free in actions that require moving, like looking into an adjacent room, hiding under a bed, searching the room, etc). The only time moving counts as a movement is if you leave the room you're in. If you said, "After observing the adjacent room, move back to the center of the current room," that'd be an action.
Turn 4You enter the room, quickly saying "I saw everything that happened." Tristana is still standing by the stairway, and says to everyone, "Watch other doors and be ready for oncoming attackers." As he finishes saying this, DavidJCobb enters the room behind you.
Tristana charges DavidJCobb at full speed. You yell "Halt!" but to no avail. You avert your attention to Aristocrat, who is standing at the west edge of the room, peering into the next area. Tempz is kneeling beside rayNimagi, searching his pockets.
Tristana lunges at DavidJCobb, tackling him to the floor. You determine you can safely intervene and run over, putting Tristana into a full nelson to stop him from continuing his assault. As you do so, DavidJCobb walks up and knees Tristana in the stomach incredibly hard, knocking the wind out of him. He slumps to the floor, and you kneel down beside him to investigate him.
You see nothing out of the ordinary about him, and searching through his pockets, you find nothing. Looking around, you see everyone is still present in the room. You take special note of Aristocrat, who has removed the painting from the wall and is examining it.
Turn 5Aristocrat says to everyone, "Follow me guys, I want to see what this place leads to; somebody should open that window and let some air in, see if we can make anything out of the surroundings of this mansion."
Tristana catches his breath and says to David, "Sorry for attacking you, we didn't want anyone untying the rope around the other in the room." As Aristocrat begins moving west, Tempz grabs the painting out of his hands. You accompany Aristocrat, going west down the hall.
This is the end of the hallway, with only one other exit, a closed door to the south. There is a sliding window on the west wall that is also closed. In the northwest corner of the room, a small stand has a glass vase of red hydrangeas sitting on top of it. Aristocrat is the only other person here.
He says to you, "Something smells weird in this room." You begin studying the closed door to the south. It looks like it's made of a dark hardwood of some kind, with some large plain-looking square designs carved into the surface for decoration. You note that the hinges for the door are on the opposite side, indicating the door swings into the room. There is a keyhole for a warded lock beneath the doorknob.
You begin looking around the room, trying to catch any extra details. This section of the hallway is rather uninteresting, aside from the stand and flowers. There are what appear to be between six and twelve flowers in the vase, though the way they're pressed together make it difficult to tell. The vase is made of transparent glass, and you can see there is water pooled in the bottom of it. The top of the vase is much wider than the bottom, with the lip going outwards and taking the shape of a hexagon.
The stand it is resting on has very little to offer, with no drawers to speak of. It is made of a light wood, and doesn't look like it's designed to hold anything relatively heavy. The window looks fairly standard, with the bottom half being able to slide up to open the window. There is a screen on the outside of it, and a locking mechanism on the top of the bottom half, which can be easily turned to lock or unlock the window.
Tempz enters from the east, holding a sharp piece of wood. Aristocrat opens the south door and looks through the doorway.
Turn 6Aristocrat tells everyone, "Meet up in the lobby! We'll corner EzTerix before he escapes." He turns to you and says, "Tell me what you find in that room if you explore it."
He sprints to the east, and Tempz follows him. You grab the flowers in the vase and with your other hand, rip all the petals off with one violent upward motion. You put the petals in your right pocket.
Heading south, you flip on the lights and find yourself in a bathroom. There are a multitude of things you would expect to find in a bathroom, such as a toilet, stand-up shower, sink, medicine cabinet, towel rack, some drawers beneath the sink, and a wicker shelving unit holding a number of grooming tools.
Examining the room, you turn your attention to the shelving unit. On the top shelf there is a small pair of scissors clearly visible, which you take hold of. On the shelf below that is a hairdryer, which you forcefully rip the cord out of. You estimate it's five to six feet long.
Turn 7You open the door on the glass stand-up shower and, removing two of the towels from the rack, lie them out on the floor of the shower. Glancing up, you note that the shower head is free to be adjusted in any direction.
Turning back to the sink, you rip out the top drawer and carry it to the shower, dumping it out on the first towel. You toss the drawer aside and look at the contents. Lying on the towel are two cans of foam shaving cream, a half-used bottle of aftershave, a bottle of cologne, a stick of deodorant, and a straight razor.
You then pull out the second drawer, empty it onto the second towel, and drop it on the ground. You see that the contents include a few single packages of toothbrushes, a partially used tube of toothpaste, a plastic toothbrush case, a package of floss, a bag of cotton swabs, and a half-empty bottle of mouthwash.
You determine this is as much as you can do for the moment.
Turn 8You slam the door shut, and look down to see the key is inside the warded lock. You turn it 360 degrees, and hear a click as the deadbolt slides into the wall, locking the door.
You plug your cord into the outlet on the opposite side of the door from the shower, which puts it a few feet away from you. You walk over and turn the shower on, aiming the shower head outward, splashing cold water onto the floor. You kneel down a bit and hold the cord just above the ground.
Turn 9You unplug the cord from the wall, and open the front of the wall-mounted medicine cabinet above the sink. Looking inside, it appears to mostly be things like band-aids, cough syrup, pain relievers, and various other over-the-counter medicines. You pull them all out into an awkward pile between your arm and stomach, then carefully walk over and dump them onto the two towels in the shower, making the piles even larger.
You pour the mouthwash down the sink, then empty the cologne bottle and aftershave bottle into it, making it about two-thirds full.
Turn 10You look around as you pocket the scissors, straight razor, and door key, unlocking the door in the process. You drop the petals in the toilet. You notice there are three lights in the room, though the light bulbs are covered and not immediately visible. There is also toilet paper, a plunger, and a bowl brush beside the toilet. The floor has a layer of water on it less than an inch high. The medicine cabinet above the sink is mirrored.
You throw the cord on a pile, and pick up the towels, and carry them as sacks. You open the door as you head north, into the next room. No one else is here, and nothing has changed. The water flows from behind you into the room.
Turn 11You look to the east and see the hallway extends at least several room lengths. There is no one immediately apparent. Directly to the east, the painting is missing from the wall, and there is some shattered glass on the floor.
You think back to when you were invited to stay here by the owner. He was a man you barely knew, aside from talk that he was somewhat wealthy. When he approached you, asking if you would attend a get-together at his place for the weekend, you were fairly surprised. However, upon arriving and mingling with the other guests, you got the distinct impression that he had invited many of the people the same way. No one seemed to be particularly close to him, or even know him that well.
Taking this into account, you're entirely unsure why anyone here would want to kill him. Not only is it unlikely anyone could have formed such a murderous grudge toward him so quickly, but he seemed to be a kind person, as far as first impressions go. It was also incredibly generous of him to invite so many people to stay there who he barely knew, though you thought to yourself at one point that he was probably lonely living in such a remote place by himself.
You sprint east, and then east again. The hallway here continues to the east and west, and there is a door to the north and south, both open. You note that the locks on them are deadbolts, with a keyhole on the outside of the door. You assume there is likely a turning mechanism on the other side. It is certainly not the kind of lock the key from the bathroom will work in.
Note: Just wanted to make sure you knew what kind of key you got from the bathroom.
http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/1792/mykey004.jpgTurn 12You scan the adjacent rooms, and see someone is to the north.
Looking into the north room, you see it is a bedroom. There are two beds, two nightstands, and two dressers here. A large bookcase covers the west wall. There are also two windows on the north wall. The only exit is the door to the south.
Lying on the floor is a pile of discarded clothes. They are drenched with blood. In the room, you see that Tempz is standing there, looking around the room. The drawers from the nightstands have been pulled open. You say to him, "Greetings. What manner of business are you up to this fine evening?" After a moment of being ignored, you say "'kay" and walk to the south door.
Looking in, you see what appears to be the master bedroom. One large bed is on the south side of the room, along with a nightstand with a lamp resting on it. There are two windows on the south wall, and a closed door on the west wall. There is also a desk in the northeast corner of the room. You hear the door behind you close and lock, and enter the room to the south.
Note: Your actions were
1) Scan adjacent rooms.
2) Look north.
3) Look south.
Turn 13You open the door to the west, and look inside. The room is pitch black.
You close the door to the north, and turn the locking mechanism. You hear a click as the door locks.
You begin your examination of the room. The comforter on the bed extends down to the floor, and lifting it to glance underneath, you see there is nothing under the bed. The windows are designed to slide open from either the bottom or the top, with a small latch on the top of the lower half of the window to lock the window when it's closed. It seems they could be broken as well, and have crimson curtains lining them, currently pulled back away from the glass.
The desk appears to be very neatly kept, with what appears to be a leather bound journal resting on top. There is also a fountain pen and a bottle of ink beside it. There are three drawers on the right side of the desk, and one large compartment on the left.
The nightstand is fairly plain, though there is a small drawer on the front of it.
Turn 14You flip the switch beside the west door, and cautiously look inside. It appears to be a walk-in closet, with a number of suits and outfits hanging and shoes organized neatly beneath them on the floor. There are also a few small shelves built into the walls, holding items ranging from ties to dress socks to watches. Nothing seems out of the ordinary about the room.
You walk to the desk and pull out the top drawer. Inside you see various office supplies. You note a stapler, staples, white out, pens and pencils, rubber bands, thumbtacks, scotch tape, paper clips, post-it notes, and a pair of scissors.
Opening the second drawer, it is mainly filled with stationary and envelopes. The third drawer houses a few bottles of whiskey, one partially empty, and a small glass. The large compartment on the left side of the desk holds a large carrying case for a typewriter.
You walk beside the bed and open the drawer on the nightstand. It appears to be full of various papers, tossed inside in an unorganized fashion. A pair of reading glasses is sitting on the unkempt stack of papers.
Turn 15You remove the papers from the drawer by the nightstand, and place them on the desk. You then pull out each of the partially-opened drawers on the desk, dumping them carefully onto the bed's comforter and discarding the drawers on the side of the bed.
You then go to the nightstand to empty it as well, and see that aside from the reading glasses, there are also a ring of keys and a revolver in the drawer which must have been previously obscured by the papers. You remove the items and place them on the bed as well.
Turn 16You inspect the gun and see nothing wrong with it. You recognize it to be a Colt Peacemaker. Pulling out the cylinder, you see that five of the chambers are loaded, with the one under the hammer being empty. You lift the back of your shirt momentarily to stow the gun underneath it, with the grip readily accessible from your pants' waistline. You drop your shirt to conceal it.
You look over the papers, but they appear to mainly be a collection of bills collected over the years. There are various utility bills, maintenance bills, and landscaping bills. Nothing in particular catches your attention or seems out of the ordinary.
You flip through the journal and see quite a bit has been written, with only the last third of the book empty. You flip to the most recent entry, which is dated the current day.
"My guests are finally starting to arrive, and I couldn't be more excited! I haven't had company even once in the years since my wife passed away. It is too lonely living like this though, by myself with no human contact. I'm glad I managed to make a few new acquaintances and that were willing to come out. I don't know any of them very well yet, but hopefully that will change soon. It'd be nice to actually have some company from time to time, so my goal here is to make a few friends from this lot. I believe another person has shown up, I should hurry and attend to them."
The entry ends here.
