I am not sure if this is even possible but i put a Distruption Field in my map and it doesnt show up in the game is there anything special i have to do to get this to show up

No, if you place the spell, it should appear.
If you don't want the actual effects of the spell, then place it as a sprite instead.
What editor are you using?

Maybe you didn't place it for P12. A disruption web is always owned by P12.
So if you preplace a web for another player it could be that it just doesn't show ingame.
This is true for minerals at least but I suppose it's the same for web, too.

Im using the new ScmDraft its a sprite and its underspecial effects but still doesnt show up

Preplacing dark swarms for players other than 12, as a unit, will work, they just won't disappear, and they won't block attacks, placing them for player 12 makes them block attacks, and they still will not disappear.

i got it ty though
