? It works just fine, how do you think people make extended terrain? I think the map you're working with has some serious issues.

Nah, man i did a test with draft 2, i clicked new, made a new map made some isometric terrain then off to the side put some rectangular field (this is in space so i was using platforms). i put a red and blue start location, made blue a computer etc and the game crashed when the map loaded =o

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

post the map, please. You did something wrong and we will find it ;P.

your mistake has to be in your "etc"...

you can only get an error message with terrain (....corridors.....crannies....).
crashing the map should be caused by units and triggers.

oh no wait no it got f'd again. the only things besides terrian that is changed (from a new map) is that the upgrades are changed and abilities are enabled/disabled, but i tested those before and they should work fine.

I guess, you crash because of map size (200x200) I suggest you to modify it to 192x192

Make sure there is at least 1 normal size to make sure a map is stable, usually if you have one normal dimension you only need to play 1 map first, or it will crash, otherwise there's a good chance it will crash no matter what.

falkoner i dont understand what you mean, and why would the map crash because it is 200X200?

200x200 aren't valid dimensions for an SC map. Read the thing when creating new.

Quote from SCMDraft2
Stardard Sizes are 64, 96, 128, 192, and 256.
Other sizes may cause errors in Starcraft and Staredit.

As long as you have ONE normal dimention, playing one map when you log into bnet, then playing a map with a DIFFERENT dimmention will work. Ex. The Oosing Blob, Stacked Hydra Defense, ETC

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Well, not always, but usually that rule works.

meme

I've yet to see it fail.

Well, to a point it's true, but there's a point when you simply can't place a starting location with the space you have.

Oh_Man -- tthen u come to SCBW and it's like - upload WAV, play WAV.... sigh why cant it be that easy
[01:40 am]
Oh_Man -- and no consistent easy to use way to then play the audio either
[01:39 am]
Oh_Man -- where they use third party audioprogram called WWISE which basically makes adding audio extremely difficult
[01:39 am]
Oh_Man -- i appreciate SCBW's ability to just let us upload and play WAVs so much compared to nightmare that is total war warhammer 3

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.
