Yes it is. It's like, post-apocalyptic world ravaged by a virus, the last remnants of humanity forced below ground to survive, they manage to develop time travel, and Bruce Willis is sent back to before the apocalypse to find the origin of the virus and obtain a pure sample of it so they can develop a cure. That's just the beginning of the movie lol.
