In Nihongo JAPANESE , Yami means darkness. Doesn't look like there's a story behind that.

Well you see...
One day, I was forced to go to Church because my mom's friend pursuaded her to go, dragging me along.
I went there, and this really scary lady came to me and told me, "Hey, you must be new here" as she ushered me to a group of kids.
I sat down, and I saw a canvas, and I thought, "Oh good, this may be some fun activity".
But then, something awful happened.
The lady started sputing nonsense, and every brainwashed child happily answered. It was as if they were trying to show off to some unknown, masochist being who likes seeing kids memorize a huge book during Sundays.
She would then start doing those 'repeat-after-me's, all while meditating the same, brightly colored trash of a future that the kids will have. And then she made us pray.
"For whom", I said.
And she gasped, and she literally stood up and came upon me.
With her fiendish eyes, looked at me with such rage and ferociously, as if she was boring a hole through my retina, directly buring my brains.
At that moment, I was so afraid, I didn't know what to do. I couldn't run away, and I was put around a circle of hypnoticed lucifers, ready to take hold of my soul and devour it greedily.
So I wet myself.
The lady had to call my mother, and so we left home.
The urine has saved me, and inspired me to make this name.
