I had just gotten a new StarCraft editor called SCMDraft 2.0 i had used a few times and it was fine
i started editing a map trying to fix a few things (the map is Hero Arena Insane if that matters), i added a few triggers everything was fine and then i added my name to mission briefing. I closed the box and a error came up talking about string corruption. I'm not completely sure that the mission briefing was the last thing i edited before it came up, but I'm pretty sure.
String corruption detected in line 1036, file ./CCHK.cpp.
String ID: 375. String Contents: NULL
REPORT THIS!
I don't know what to do I looked around the string and found the the String ID the error message mentioned was missing (the missing string was right after the mission briefing string). I tried to add a new string by clicking the new string button, but it just kept coming up with new ones missing.
None.
Old SCMDraft glitch. Nothing is actually corrupted. Just save and restart SCMDraft.

well I'm not quite sure because I hosted and once we got into the start screen SC crashed and said something about an error
and i went back into Scmdraft and the same message popped back up

Go advanced - backup database and restore a non-corrupted version.
Thanks that worked i guess i just can't change the mission briefing

I had this sort of thing once, where I got the error message over and over again and simply saving and re-opening didn't fix it. The problem was a trigger that played a sound was trying to play a sound which I had deleted the string for. So if you've deleted any sounds from the map, you'll need to check any triggers that used to play that sound as well, and clean them up.

alrighty I'll be sure to remember that thanks
oh, and does anyone know what the best Star Craft editor is?
