I'm attempting to force locations on a Top vs Bottom map. I need 3 human players on top, 5 Entropy AI on the bottom. Always. Is there any possible way to accomplish this?
None.
That would be mapping, not modding. You just use the Use Map Settings gametype and disable Random Start Locations in the Forces menu.
None.
Using Entropy in UMS seems to end the game instantly as a draw.
None.
Odd... I did not know that. You can go to broodwarai.com and ask about it. Or, you can open Entropy in WinMPQ and check if there are any files besides aiscript.bin, bwscript.bin, or a listfile, and deleting any that are there. That might do it, unless it just borks the script.

It depends on what version he's using, plus in UMS the Entopy scripts don't work because of the difference between UMS scripts and melee.
None.
Derqua, he said that the game ends instantly in a draw. That implies that there's a .got or something messing with UMS mode. Deleting it would either fix the problem, or cause the whole mod to explode. Though, in a way, you may be right: He'd probably also need to run the melee AI script with a trigger for the AI players.

PyMS and ProTRG developer
Edit the .got file for the game type and make the Starting Positions Fixed instead of Random.
PyGOT can do it if you need it.
With the games ending with a draw, are you putting computers in a separate force than the humans?
None.
