i got health detection down fine from the tut's around but i run into a problem, in my map which is multiplayer i have so wen ur hero has 1-1250 life that a message comes up that hes dying. Now this all works perfectly normal except if one player isn't in the game it doesn't work and it constantly spams the msg unless the unit dies, i re-searched the address of the unit and it changed, and i tried it again without 3 players in the game and its different again, does this mean that i have to make a trigger per hero unit (preplaced) for 8 different(number of players in the game) address's?

my trigger looks like this
Conditions:
Bring("Current Player", "Fenix (Dragoon)", "Arena", At least, 1);
Memory(130663, At least, 256);
Memory(130663, At most, 320000);

Actions:
Display Text Message(Always Display, "\x013\x008YOUR HEROES HEALTH IS CRITICAL!!!");
Preserve Trigger();

preplace the units for players 9-12, put them on the map before any other units (you can move the position in SCMDraft) especially units you've preplaced for the players.

so just place them for p9-12 then give them to the player i want and have them be the first units on the map? i also have a large scale amount of units for each player but i only want to detect 'hero' units so do i have to give the army to p9-12 also? Also how can make so w/e units i want to be placed first on the map without actually placing them first? Where is this function i dont seem to be able to find it in the unit properties? (i know this must seem like a really dumb question lolz)

Press enter when you have selected a unit with the latest version of SCMDraft in the sticky thread in mapmaking tools forum. You can then move the units up and down to change the index number (which is the placement number). You only need the detectable units to be there. For example, if you have 10 hero units in the game, make the first 10 units (0-9) be owned by players 9-12/computer players, then give those units at the start to their respective players and remove them if they don't exist.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
