I was wondering about this a while ago as well and I did a bit of my own testing. Nothing to do with the timing but something you should know:

SAMPLE ONE DOES NOT DETECT HALLUCINATES - that is all.

None.

Hallucinations cannot be detected by conditions, but will be affected by certain actions. So yes, bring will not detect hallucinations. :P

None.

The action will target the bottom-left most unit/hallu in the location, right?

None.

Left-most, and if they're on the same pixel, the last unit to be leftmost is selected next, and if they're preplacedon the same x pixel, the one with the lowest unit ID is selected first.

i have a question somewhat similar, would it be faster using the leaderboard as a condition or using minerals\gas as a condition?

None.

Quote from Falkoner
Well, it's actually a 12th of a second difference(8th of an in-game second) if you wanna get precise, but it can make all the difference in a trigger system that relies on StarCraft functioning one way or the other.
No, they are the exact same. How is it you that cannot fathom this?

None.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

He meant when bring isn't updated.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
